Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade announced for PlayStation 5

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to PlayStation 5 along with an updated version called Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. The updated release will add new content and new visual enhancements.

Displayed during Thursday’s play status, Intergrade adds new story content to the first game in Square Enix’s multipart Final Fantasy 7 RemakeThe PS5 version has all the technical and graphical improvements you’d expect from an upgrade, such as shorter load times and better visual effects, but Intergrade adds a new part to the story with Yuffie, a character we don’t normally see in the story until the gang has left Midgar.

Dressed in a cute moogle robe, with a male character by her side, Yuffie is in Midgar, ready to go on her own adventure. You will be able to play both as Yuffie and Sonon as they develop their own plan to infiltrate Shinra to find some rare material. Yuffie will most likely be in the next part of it Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and this add-on lets us know what she did in the background.

The game also includes a photo mode, which allows players to pause and take stunning screenshots of the various characters. As seen in the trailer, you can even take screenshots during fights, which means if you’re like me, the Reno fight is now just a photoshoot.

A new difficulty setting will also be added to the game, allowing players to use the classic turn-based controls while playing in normal mode. Back in the day, you had to play the game on easily accessible classic controls.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be released on June 10. Those who have purchased the PlayStation 4 version can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free, but will still have to pay a separate fee to Intergrade

CORRECTION: The heading of this article has been updated to clarify that Intergrade becomes a paid add-on for PS5 players.
