FC Barcelona – La Liga Asked to prove its worth in training

Pedri revealed a conversation he had with his coach Ronald Koeman a few days after I joined Barcelona last summer.
The 18-year-old attacker explained that the Barcelona coach admitted that he had not seen him play before and therefore Pedri had to prove himself in training to get a place in the starting line-up.
“One day [Koeman] put me aside and told me that he didn’t know much about me, that he had barely seen me play and that I should show my skills and abilities during training, ” Pedri told AP.
“It motivated me. I knew I had to work as hard as anyone to win my place.”
A few months after his arrival, Pedri managed to break in Barcelona from XI, mainly in midfield.
The former Las Palmas player seems to have already clicked with the team captain Lionel Messi and he is undoubtedly one of the breakthrough players this season in LaLiga Santander.
