Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has admitted that in an honest interview he understands why people are so against him.
He discussed reactions to him and how he is being treated by fans, and opened up.
“Obviously people know me from soccer, I think I’m one of the most hated players in soccer, I know,” Alba explained, in conversation with The Day After on Movistar +.
“It’s my way of playing and that’s why I became the player I am now and I have become where I am now.
“Then people get to know me and know what I am like, a very humble person and I appreciate everything in my life.
“Jordi the player is nothing like Jordi the human or Jordi with his teammates.
“It is true that I am very annoying in the way I play and I understand the hatred that people who don’t know me give me.”
