We only wrote about the big news Fallout: New Vegas mod The border last week when it was released! And now we write about it again, because the mod is ‘hidden’ (in fact temporarily removed) from Nexus Mods and retrieved from its own website after allegations that one of his artists has posted “animated pedophile content on their personal artist accounts”.

The full statement, posted on the mod’s page by the development team, reads:

Some very worrying news has emerged in recent hours. We were recently informed that one of our developers, ZuTheSkunk, had posted animated pedophile content on their personal artist accounts. The items in question are very disturbing for the whole team and we condemn them in the strongest sense. ZuTheSkunk has since been removed from the Development Team and banned from our Community Discord. We will engage in a dialogue with members of the development team to hear their views on the current situation and to help make our decision more informed. We have stopped production and are working on the mod to handle current events properly. More measures will be taken and a more detailed address will be posted shortly.

The opinions, thoughts, and opinions expressed both in and out of the mod belong solely to the authors writing them, and not to the mod’s organization, community, or any other group or person.

ZuTheSkunk has a Deviantart account that is still active, which largely consists of My little pony fan art, and which occasionally descends on the sexual front, although nothing of the magnitude claimed in the statement. However, there is a now deleted account on the more NSFW-leaning art website Fur affinity named “ZuTheSkunk” which has been “deactivated by the owner”.

The mod is also not available on Steam as it is just “Coming Soon”.
