Experts predict NFL Week 16 disruptions, Aaron Jones’ future and best suited for Trevor Lawrence in 2021 NFL draft

Week 16 of the 2020 NFL schedule is here, and it’s a strange one because of the holidays.

The slate has no game on Christmas Eve, a late afternoon game on Christmas Day, and a tripleheader on Saturday. There are two big matchups on Sunday: The Colts (10-4) will play against the staggering Steelers (11-3) in Pittsburgh and the Packers (11-3) will play host to the Titans (10-4).

Not only did we ask our experts about the biggest potential disruptions, we also asked about possible destinations for the likely No. 1 2021 draft pick Trevor Lawrence and which non-playoff team will be the strongest contender this season to make it to the postseason next season.

What is your best choice for week 16?

Jeremy Fowler, National NFL Writer: Vikings (+7) above Saints. Minnesota is capable of defeating or losing to anyone. Just ask the Packers, who were beaten by the Vikings ‘running game in week 8. The Saints’ passing game still looks a bit shaky without Michael Thomas, and the Vikings have a respectable minus 22 point difference in five games against teams with 10 or more wins. Plus, Minnesota has played with too much pride over the years under Mike Zimmer to drop back to 6-9.
