Exclusive PS4 console is now also coming to Xbox One

An exclusive PS4 console is now also coming to Xbox One and Xbox One X. Some of the best games of the past decade were exclusive to PS4. From Uncharted 4 to Blood borne to Until sunrise to Marvel’s Spider-Man to Final Fantasy 7 Remake to Horizon Zero Dawn to The Last of Us, Part 2 to Spirit of Tsushima, and for the greatest of all, God of warThere’s no denying that the PS4 has some of the most fascinating exclusives of all time, across all video game consoles. That said, it just lost an exclusive console, but not anything close to the meaning of the above games.

Somewhere this year ROAD: The Survival Series coming to PS4 and PC. Developer Breaking Walls announced this last summer. That said, it is now also coming to Xbox One. This week, the developer announced that when the third-person adventure game comes out this year, it will also be available on Xbox One.

Although we now have a third platform, there is still no word on additional ports. In other words, if the game comes to PS5, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, or Google Stadia, there’s no word of it. That said, it will be playable on the former two next-gen consoles, thanks to backward compatibility.

Whether the game will make it to other platforms remains to be seen. What we do have is a new trailer that accompanied all of this news.

As for the game itself, it takes place in the distance where a series of natural disasters makes every species on the planet fight for survival. In this world you play a sugar glider and your task is simple: survive. According to Breaking Walls, the game is inspired by several nature documentaries.

ROAD: The Survival Series will release sometime later this year via PC, PS4 and Xbox One. For more coverage on this and all things gaming – including all the latest news, rumors, and leaks – click here or check out the relevant links below:
