Ex-Yankees outfielder Johnny Damon arrested for DUI in Florida

Johnny Damon was behind bars on Friday after he was arrested for drunk driving.

The former Yankees and Red Sox outfielder had a blood alcohol level above .20, more than twice the legal limit in the state of .08, at the time of his arrest on Friday morning by Windermere police.

According to police reports, the Orlando, Florida resident was charged with DWI and unviably opposes an officer.

Damon, 47, played 18 seasons in the major leagues and spent most of his career with the Royals, Red Sox and Yankees. He was a two-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion and won a title with the Yankees and Red Sox.
