Sony has responded to the failed launch of Cyberpunk 2077 and CD Projekt Red’s apology / encouragement for disappointed players to seek reimbursement by taking an unprecedented, drastic step. Not only did the company set up a special process for PlayStation owners to request an automatic refund if they wanted one, it pulled Cyberpunk 2077 completely from the PlayStation Store.
If you already have it on PS4 (or, for that matter, PS5) you can still play it, and all the updates coming in will still be coming your way, but no one can ‘until further notice’ get a digital copy on PlayStation to buy. It seems that the demand for refunds was so incredible that some people were initially unable to access Sony’s form. CD Projekt Red has already promised some major updates to kick off 2021, which it says will address issues on previous-generation consoles, but now some players have no choice but to wait.

Tesla is known for delivering its electric vehicles a little later than intended. It’s strangely fitting to learn that toy versions of the Cybertruck won’t arrive on time either. Such as Bloomberg Two remotely controlled trucks developed by Mattel are reported to be shipped this month. Due to an “unforeseen production issue,” the company explained in an email to customers, the target delivery date has been moved to May 2021.
