Emma Stone and husband Dave McCary have grown closer ‘in ways they never expected’ after becoming parents to daughter
Emma Stone and her husband Dave McCary are in a particularly good place after welcoming their daughter last month.
“Having a baby has brought them closer together in a way they never expected,” an insider close to the couple told Us Weekly on Sunday.
The 32-year-old ‘has been at home with her husband and the baby’ and has’ remained very calm and has asked people to simply respect their privacy during this time.

McCary, 35, has been “ hands-on and helping with their daughter ” since welcoming the child to Los Angeles on March 20, while the Oscar-winning La La Land actress is “ the precious moments of being a mother for the first time. ”
The Scottsdale, Arizona-born actress began dating McCary in June 2017, and they revealed they were engaged via social media in December 2019.
They postponed a major wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic last year, and the couple were spotted wearing wedding rings later in the year. A source confirmed to People last fall that the couple had tied the knot.
Stone commented on the marriage last November during a conversation with Entertainment Tonight: “I feel pretty good about starting my own pack.”

A source told Us Weekly in January that Stone had a smooth and joyful pregnancy.

Stone will play the titular role of Cruella de Vil in Disney’s live-action movie Cruella, which hits theaters on May 28.
