May the royal handwringing stop, says Netflix’s own Princess Diana.
According to Variety, actress Emma Corrin, who portrays the late princess in season four of Netflix’s Emmy-winning drama The crown, fully supports the streamer’s refusal to appease the royal court and its loyal champions, and denies an appeal to put an unnecessary disclaimer prior to the episodes. “It is very clearly a dramatized version of the events,” said Corrin Varietyis Marc Malkin, who interviewed the actress for an upcoming podcast episode. “This is fictional, just as people are not mistaken Succession for what really happened to the Murdochs.
