Elsa Pataky has reflected on her decision to quit acting at the peak of her career to start a family.
Speaking to Jones magazine this week, the 44-year-old Fast And The Furious star explained that she selflessly chose to put her acting career on hold after having children, so her superstar husband Chris Hemsworth, 37, turned could concentrate on making movies.
“ I decided to focus on them and leave my career aside, just do little things here and there and be happy with them, even though it was my passion and I loved what I did, ” the mother of three said.

But as Chris’s career blossomed, Elsa felt jealous.
“At times it was difficult because you see the person you love that you are so passionate about, you see them make movies and you wish you could too,” she confessed.
‘But because of my family, I didn’t want to shoot anywhere else and it was Chris’s moment – I just let him know he could do what he needed to do and we’ll follow,’ Elsa added.

Born in Madrid, Spain, Elsa was made famous by Elena Neves in The Fast and the Furious franchise, and has also starred in popular films such as Snakes on a Plane (2006) and Give ‘Em Hell, Malone (2009).
She married Australian heartthrob Chris in 2010, a year after divorcing her actor ex Adrien Brody.
Elsa and Chris now share three children, daughter India Rose, eight, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, six, and live in a $ 30 million mansion near Byron Bay.
