Tesla CEO Elon Musk is playing with the possibility of using crypto assets to power a future economy on Mars.
Respond to a discussion started by artificial intelligence researcher Lex Fridman, the head of the electric vehicle company offers a clear answer to the question of whether the economy of Mars will run on crypto.
“Yes.”
Musk’s latest crypto tweet storm also includes one holiday greeting with an accompanying image of a woman wearing a Dogecoin (DOGE) short.
Last week, Musk sent the crypto asset rising 20% after praising the dog-themed cryptocurrency in a tweet.
“One word: doge.”
In July, Musk shared a tweet suggesting Dogecoin could take over the world economy and become a reserve currency.
“It’s inevitable.”
After the tweet, Dogecoin was up nearly 20%.
Musk also recently caught the attention of Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, after posting a provocative meme about the power it takes to stay productive and ignore the leading cryptocurrency.
The CEO of the business intelligence company took the opportunity to pitch BTC to the tech pioneer.
“If you want to do your shareholders a favor of $ 100 billion, convert the TSLA balance from USD to BTC. Other companies on the S&P 500 would follow your lead, and over time, this would grow to a $ 1 trillion favor. “
