Ellen DeGeneres is discharging a massive Beverly Hills mansion for $ 47 MILLION

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi made millions of dollars in profits on the sale of their Beverly Hills mansion, but not nearly as much as they wanted.

The 63-year-old star and her actress-wife sold the 10,000-square-foot space for “ about $ 47 million, ” according to The Wall Street Journal on Monday.

In March, the talk show host listed the estate through luxury broker Kurt Rappaport for quite a bit more – $ 53.5 million – two years after The Voice’s purchase of Adam Levine.

A source familiar with the deal confirmed to WSJ that Ellen and Portia closed the sale of the home at around $ 47 million – nearly six million less than their original asking price.

The identity of the lucky buyer of the spectacular property is currently being kept a secret.

Ellen and Portia could have celebrated their big sale (and $ 2 million profit) when they were spotted on a rare date night in Montecito on Sunday.

According to the Westside Estate Agency, where the house was listed, Ellen and Portia ‘completely renovated’ the stunning house in 2020.

The mansion features five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and a 15-foot living room complete with a stone fireplace.

Other notable features include a tennis court, media room, gym, swimming pool, outdoor kitchen with pizza oven and guest house.

The master suite alone is larger than many single family homes at 2,000 square feet with an adjoining sitting room and private bath.

Ellen and Portia bought the property from Adam Levine and his supermodel wife Behati Prinsloo for $ 45 million two years ago.

The Voice coach reportedly got the ownership from Will and Grace creator Max Mutchnick for $ 35.5 million just a year earlier, in March 2018.

Adam and Behati then bought Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s former home in the Pacific Palisades for $ 32 million, with Rappaport also representing the musician.

The upscale hot potato for the home is very common in Los Angeles and in particular, Ellen and Portia have made it a hobby to flip high-end real estate.

Ellen reportedly lost a million viewers after reports of a toxic behind-the-scenes work culture on her daytime show.

DeGeneres enjoyed strong ratings in her 18th season premiere last fall when she covered the scandal, but has seen a rapid decline in recent months.

“I’ve learned that things happen here that should never have happened,” she said in her season premiere. ‘I take that very seriously. And I want to say that I am so sorry for the people who have been affected.

“I know I am in a position of privilege and power, and I realize that comes with responsibility. I take responsibility for what happens on my show. ‘
