“El Guitarreño” tells about his fears after an accident in his right eye

In good spirits, but without detracting from the seriousness of the accident that kept him absent from the Wapa screen, comedian Alfonso Alemán “El Guitarreño” returned this morning, telling his colleagues in “Noticentro at dawn” the details and fears. told which he experienced.

He entered the morning news studio dressed in sportswear and shielding his eyes with glasses. He immediately expressed his gratitude to the doctors who treated him during his emergency.

He said he quickly left the canal on December 11 to return home to join the workers who were building an extension to the marquee. While there, he observed a 20-foot beam and fearing it would fall on him or someone cut, he decided to cut it in half.

“When I bite her, I was sitting on a sofa and the machine falls to the floor, and it should have a sensor and it will shut down,” he told reporter Jorge Gelpí and presenter Yizette Cifredo.

He picked up the machine again and the cut-off piece broke off, hitting him on the forehead, nose and right eye, leaving two deep wounds.

“The whole time I was conscious,” he said from the moment he began to feel the fluid from his eye begin to flow down his cheek. “I saw my vision blur.”

He told his wife he feared his eye had “exploded”. “I thought so many things, I said, ‘I went blind.’ He even confessed that he feared for his life, as one of the doctors later warned him that if the wounds had gone further into the eye, he could have remained in a vegetative state.

Later he had two more operations and luckily they managed to save the organ.

Alemán returns today to his work at Wapa, in particular in the program “Pégate al mediodía”.
