Eat healthy, take care of your beauty and well-being

I was recently in my job as a beauty and wellness professional when a client commented on a particular diet that she had been following for a while, one that she designed herself. Later, in the conversation itself, she added how much weight she had lost, but also claimed how upset her body had been, to such an extent that she could not get “ even an ounce ” now, according to her.

Friends and friends, we often have some disagreement with our body figure and we (persistently) give ourselves the task of ‘solving the problem’. The worst thing about this is that this behavior of wanting to transform something in our body is in fact justified only by the fact that this quality does not coincide with the beauty ideal we have in our mind at the time. And I say at that time because the ideals or beauty references in each person usually vary over time.

The sad thing is that we often threaten our health through our goal of ‘looking better’. In the case I was talking about, of course I am not against dieting, but I disagree with the irresponsible and unintelligent behavior of designing a diet to follow if someone is not a professional in this field and not even being researched.

People often think that the big problem is in the amount of food a person gets in their daily diet and therefore the solution would be to radically reduce this amount.

But we focus so much on quantity that we forget an extremely important element: quality. It is true that an excessive and uncontrolled amount of food is not advisable for our health or for our appearance, but it is also true that even if you eat less but eat “poisonous” foods, the damage can be worse.

It is true that life is hectic and that anxiety along with stress makes many people easy prey, nor do I deny that in this unbridled dynamic along with the availability of certain fast food items that we can find within everyone’s reach, they are the perfect creating conditions for many. people eat foods that, while not poisoned, are far from healthy for beauty and less for well-being.

Friend and friend, in the field of a healthy eating culture, a large part of the population is undoubtedly lacking knowledge and serious information. I would like to contribute a little bit in this sense to help us understand that not only the quantity, but also the quality of what we eat pays serious and tacit attention to our well-being.

I want to share with you some small tips given by nutritional experts so that little by little you can take important steps for the benefit of you, your beauty and your well-being:

First, If you’re one of those people who likes to add some sugar to already processed foods, experts recommend replacing honey with honey and, if there is no other, opting for unrefined sugar which is always less harmful than refined.

Second, consuming ultra-processed foods is a common method of dealing with anxiety. It is true that in times of restlessness or waiting, it is tempting to buy a box or cartridge of fried food or industrial pastries. However, that does not solve the fear and it puts your health at risk little by little. For example, if you need to “snack” on something to eat to deal with anxiety while on the street, you may want to choose foods such as peanuts in grains. This way, you will get a good dose of energy, calm your anxiety and not endanger your well-being.

Third, In food it happens just like in cosmetics, we have to get in the habit of reading the food label, not just to look for the expiration date, but above all to learn more about its ingredients. When it comes to a healthy diet, there are certain components or ingredients that you should avoid. These include refined palm or sunflower oil, white flour, or excess salt.
