Do you like sweets? Do you have an opinion about it? Are you looking for a job? If you answered “yes” to all three questions, you may be interested in learning more about a feature that allows you to pay cash to taste candy. And no, this isn’t one of those “dream job” competitions – it’s an actual role at a candy company. Here’s What You Should Know.
The position
There is not one task for the taking: Candy Funhouse hires 10 people to taste some sweets. Two of those positions are full-time (8-hour shifts) and the other eight are part-time (15 hours per week). They all pay $ 30 / hour.
While both ads state that the functions can be done remotely, they also say that the full-time position requires the candy tasting to be done in person – which will presumably take place in Mississauga, Ontario, where the company is based. That’s kind of confusing, but cross that bridge when you get there, I guess?
