After a long period of absence – and some concerns about its work environment – Techland will reveal new details about Dying Light 2’s “development process” as part of a stream next week. The update – announced on the game’s social media page – looks like it will focus more on internal affairs than the game itself, although we should get a decent progress report.
It’s clearly been a while since we last saw the title in action, and many have wondered what’s going on behind the scenes. However, a representative responded to a fan’s concerns, stressing that the title was “a long way from development” and was simply announced “too early”. It added: “Dying Light 2 keeps moving forward.”
The game was announced all the way in 2018 and was set to release in 2020. Honestly, it still feels like it’s years away, but maybe next week’s update will shed some light on when we can expect the undead sequel to be rolled out. Are you still looking forward to this title, or has your interest grown over the years? Stay in at night in the comments section below.
