Dwayne Johnson says it would be “an honor” to serve as US president.

Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson continues to fuel speculation of interest in a US presidential race.

Earlier this week, a poll found that 46% of Americans would like the actor to run for president.

Johnson shared a post on his social networks referencing the survey and stating that he may not be the most traditional candidate, but it’s something he’s considering.

“I’m not sure if our founding fathers imagined a six (foot) four (inch) man, bald, tattooed, half black, half Samoan, tequila drunk, driving a pickup truck, wallet around his waist, join of your club, but if it ever happens, it would be an honor for me to serve you, the people, ”he wrote alongside an image of the article published by Newsweek.

The poll, which shows that nearly half of Americans think The Rock would consider a presidential career opportunity, came after the former professional wrestler stated he was considering running.

In 2017 was the star of Fast and furious Y Jumanji he said he was “seriously considering” going to the White House.

In February, he said the possibility is still spinning in his head. “I would consider a presidential race in the future if the people want it,” he said at the time. USA Today‘I really mean it, and I am in no way lighthearted with my answer. That would depend on the people … So I would wait and listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear on the ground ”.

In September, Johnson backed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, which marked the first time he publicly endorsed a presidential bid.
