Duván Zapata is injured again in Atalanta’s match against Inter – International Football – Sports

The alarms come on again with the rush hour Duvan Zapata, which again caused concern at Atalanta, during the game against Inter next Monday.

Zapata had contracted a quadriceps contract from which he had supposedly recovered as he had a few minutes against Crotone in the middle of last week, and this Monday he started against Inter.

In this match, however, the attacker had to leave the field at minute 70, apparently resentful again.

Zapata asked for the change several times and eventually withdrew as he was replaced by his fellow countryman Luis Fernando Muriel. Now the medical advice is awaited.

At the end of the game, DT Gasperini gave no further details, but said: “Let’s hope it isn’t serious for Duvan.”

Atalanta faces the return leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Madrid on March 16, and now he’s worried about the Colombian forward again.
