You’ve heard of regenerative braking on electric vehicles – you know how the battery recovers some energy every time you brake – but I have a feeling you will all love the new charging solution on the ride Mercedes developed for its AMG Hybrid: drifting.
The company hid that little Easter egg on the first release of the his AMG hybrid line that is inspired by Formula 1 technology. You can check it out in the hybrid strategy section of a new video from Mercedes. The regenerative drift bit comes in at 12:17 p.m., but the whole video is really cool if you’ve had some unanswered questions about the technology
It is important to note that we are still not completely clear about all the details about how exactly this technology works. Or each of the hybrid technology introduced in these cars. Mercedes has kept it all a secret for now, opting instead to release a few pieces of information at a time.
