Dr. Drew Pinsky coronavirus: Pinsky, who apologized for downplaying the virus, says he has Covid-19

He shared the news on his Instagram, but says he is recovering.

“Thanks for checking in, I appreciate all the friendly shout-outs,” he said in a video. Covid is no fun. I don’t recommend it. ‘

Earlier, the doctor called the pandemic “press-induced,” but later apologized.

He went on to say that he has been ill for six days and that he eventually tested positive after a false negative result.

The former CNN presenter of “Dr. Drew” also posted several videos discussing the use of bamlanivimab and dexamethasone. Bamlanivimab received an emergency use license from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in early November.

According to the FDA, monoclonal antibodies should be administered as soon as possible after symptoms appear and a person tests positive for infection.
