In mid-December, Governor Doug Ducey and Dr. Christ appeared together as they visited a vaccination site and urged the Arizonans to get the vaccine.
ABC15 reporter Mike Pelton spoke with Dr. Marjorie Bessel, Banner Health’s Chief Clinical Officer, on whether she believes Dr. Christ and Gov. Ducey did a good job helping hospitals combat this wave.
“We’re not doing a good job with this virus right now,” said Dr. Bessel.
Valleywise Health also noted on Wednesday that they are keeping patients in emergency care because there are no manned ICU or hospital beds available.
