Donald Trump’s helipad is being dismantled at his home in Mar-a-Lago

PALM BEACH, UNITED STATES. – The city of palm tree beach ordered this Wednesday every heliport that the former US president had Donald Trump on your private property of Mar-a-Lago, where he is currently residing after ending his presidential term on January 20.

That city had already made an exception for Trump, one of him provisional permit while he was president. Permission allowed him to land in helicopters, but now the heliport has been removed as they are prohibited in the area.

Currently, controversy remains over the legality of Trump’s residency as some neighbors try to prevent the former president from living in that place full-time.

In 1993, the mogul signed an agreement to transform the residence into a private club where no one could live for more than a few weeks.

The Palm Beach County district attorney explained that it was exactly that year that no one was allowed to live in the home’s premises and even emphasized that a Trump attorney assured him that he would not live there, as he would be like any other member of the club.

Given this problem, Palm Beach councilors plan to review this agreement in March.

Trump has been an employee of the company that owns Mar-a-lago, according to the Guardian newspaper, and municipal regulations allow a club to provide accommodation for employees on site.
