Dominion lawsuit against MyPillow’s Lindell certainly not the last, CEO says

Dominion Voting Systems, a primary target of baseless conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election, will “certainly” file more lawsuits against those who pushed these false allegations, the company’s CEO said Tuesday.

CEO John Poulos, whose company had filed a $ 1.3 billion defamation suit the day before against Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow, confirmed that more legal action would be forthcoming in an interview with CNBC’s Eamon Javers about “Closing Bell.”

It is “certainly not the last lawsuit,” said Poulos.

When asked directly if Dominion would sue Fox News, Poulos said, “We’re not excluding anyone.”

Dominion has also filed lawsuits against former President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and pro-Trump attorney Sidney Powell since January.

She and Lindell are all accused of causing “irreparable damage” to the company’s reputation through their proliferation of baseless conspiracy theories.

The three lawsuits each claim more than $ 1.3 billion in damages.

“The reputation damage alone is devastating for us,” Poulos told CNBC. He stressed that the “bigger point” of suing Lindell, Giuliani and Powell is “really getting the facts on the table.”
