Dominican musician dies after shock

The Dominican musician died, Homer Guerrero, as a result of withdrawal shock caused by the sudden interruption of alcohol intake. The young man’s death occurred this Tuesday at sunrise.

Together with Pavel Núñez he formed the Dominican band Codigo Genetic with a lot of influence from the Cuban trova, in addition to Anglo elements such as blues, funk and folk, among other rhythms that were linked to the Caribbean.

The singer-songwriter expressed his pain for the loss of his friend through his Instagram account, writing: “I’ve always had words and a hug for those hurt by love or a game, but there is no greater pain in the world than the one who feels when there are no words. Nowadays I don’t even know what to say or where to be ”.

“For your health Homer, for you if I take my hat off, because your body is going away, but not our history, which we write on stage,” he added.

Years later, Guerrero devoted himself to stage management, working hand in hand with his friend and colleague Pavel Núñez in the editing of his musical presentations.
