Dodgers put Cody Bellinger on the disabled list

The current MLB champion team, Los Angeles Dodgers, have placed it in the injured list to the star midfielder, Cody Bellinger, who collided with an Athletics-pitcher last Monday in a race to reach the first mat safely. Instead of touching first base, the pitcher accidentally stepped on the trooper.

The clash with the Dominican Reymín Guadán resulted in Belli having a bruise on the left calf, an injury that left him off the active list of the Blue and Whites for several days.

While manager Dave Roberts has stated that he is seeing an improvement in Belli, it is not as significant as expected, which is why the National League MVP in 2019 will be available to be reinstated until April 16, in case of recovery.

His place on the squad is taken by fellow outfielder Luke Raley, who has not yet had the privilege of playing in the Major Leagues and this could be his golden opportunity to make his dream come true.
