“On April 9, 2021, the hearing took place in the presence of all interested parties, in which the judge ruled that, given the new conclusive evidence of our son Eduardo’s innocence, it was appropriate to release him,” the statement said.

On a live broadcast, Daniela, along with her parents and lawyers, offered a press conference assuring the judge’s decision was due to economic influences on the aggressor’s family.

“I will act energetically accordingly, requesting again for continuation of the investigation, I will provide more evidence, I will file criminal complaints (…), I fear for myself and my family as I hold Mr Eduardo Ojeda Franco responsible, the Ojeda Franco family of my security, that of my family and my lawyers, ”he said.

“Yesterday the economic power of the Ojeda Franco family was demonstrated, I will appeal (…), I will not be silent and I will not stop until justice is done.”
