Diego Vázquez climbed a Yankel wall to watch the game against Marathón

San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Diego Vázquez received a new sentence, but that didn’t stop him from watching the Motagua classic against Marathon at the Yankel Rosenthal Stadium, on the second day of the 2021 Clausura tournament.

The Argentinian coach climbed a wall to observe his team’s actions in the match that Cyclone Azul eventually won 0-1 thanks to a goal from Paraguayan Roberto Moreira.

Vázquez arrived on board a truck to the north of the Yankel Rosenthal stadium and did not hesitate for a second to get up to the wall to see everything that was happening on the field.

The Blues coach heard the new sanction of a game that the National Disciplinary Commission applied to him on Friday. The penalty was due to Vázquez giving instructions from the stands to his players in the first date match against the UPN, when he was unable to do so because he was being penalized.

‘La Barbie’ Vázquez and Motagua are at a perfect pace in the new championship with two wins in two games.
