Diego Costa is no longer continuing with Atlético de Madrid on the request for termination of his contract, which expired until June 2021.
Spanish-Brazilian forward Diego Costa was separated from Atlético de Madrid on Tuesday with the signing of the termination of his contract, which expired on June 30, the rojiblanco club announced in an official statement.
“Atlético de Madrid and Diego Costa have reached an agreement to end the attacker’s contract, which ended on June 30, 2021. The Spanish-Brazilian player asked the club to leave the club for personal reasons a few days ago and signed the termination of his contract on Tuesday, leaving our entity, ” the entity said.
