The whites were able to add one more highlight for the following games, after midfielder Jorge Álvarez gave the surprising practice with the rest of the squad in a group led by Pedro Troglio.

Álvarez had joined the club to begin his phase of recovery and strengthening of his knee.

Despite showing a great improvement in his physical condition, the Olimpia midfielder has scheduled a knee check for March 10 and it will be Dr. Benítez who will decide whether to get fired or wait a little longer.

The Lions player comes from a process of two consecutive injuries in less than a year and so he doesn’t want to put his health on the line.

Jorge Álvarez managed to play 13 National League games last season, reaching 764 minutes in the game injured against Vida. In addition, the youth hopes to be ready for the U23 team.
