Jennifer López and Alex Rodríguez remain firmer than ever with their wedding plans.
Jennifer López and Alex Rodríguez’s wedding was one of the most anticipated in the entertainment industry in 2020. However, the couple’s plans had to be postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite the public health crisis being experienced worldwide, López and Rodríguez remain firmer than ever with the idea of joining their lives after a romantic vacation they took to the Bahamas in March 2019.
In a recent interview with radio station SiriusXM, Jennifer López didn’t rule out the idea of continuing to share her life as a couple with Alex Rodríguez without having to celebrate a wedding: “Oh yes, of course we talked about that possibility. I mean that given our age and the fact that we’ve been married before, it wasn’t anything substantial or urgent. We have asked ourselves several times, ‘Are we getting married? Are we not married? What does a wedding mean to us? “Ultimately, it is something very personal that we as a couple have to share, you had to think about what you really wanted to do”.
On the other hand, the singer was very aware of the reality currently being experienced with the COVID-19 pandemic and pointed out that both she and Rodríguez are in no “rush” to join their lives in marriage.
In his interview with SiriusXM, López confessed that his wedding was planned for June 2020: “We are not in a hurry. Let’s see, it’s sad because we should have gotten married in June, we almost finished everything. We wanted to get married in Italy, and at the beginning of it all, the country had the worst data in the world. “
Jennifer López was married in the past to Ojani Noa (1997-1998), Cris Judd (2001-2003) and Marc Anthony (2004-2014). The singer is the mother of two children in common with Anthony: Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximilian David Muñiz.
While Alex Rodríguez was married to the American psychologist Cynthia Scurtis (2002-2008). The couple are the parents of two daughters in common: Natasha Alexander Rodríguez and Ella Alexander Rodríguez.
As for the plans for her big wedding to Rodríguez, Jennifer López has admitted that her son Max will be in charge of joining her on her way down the aisle to swear undying love with her fiancé. The announcement of the actress was made in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2019, shortly after the announcement of her engagement.
Emme, López’s daughter, made it known in an interview with E! News that he plans to perform a theme song at his mother’s wedding. For the celebration, the teen will sing a song on that special day that is very special to both her and her mother.
As for the roles of Alex Rodríguez’s daughters in the ceremony, teens are expected to be part of the bridesmaids. The information has been rated by HELLO! Magazine, but Rodríguez has not elaborated any details on it.
