Detroit Pistons send Delon Wright to Sacramento Kings for Cory Joseph, grab

The Detroit Pistons swap Guard Delon Wright to the Sacramento Kings for Guard Cory Joseph and two second-round picks, sources told ESPN Wednesday night.

The picks going to Detroit include a 2021 second-rounder via the Los Angeles Lakers and the Kings’ own 2024 second-rounder, sources told ESPN. The Pistons now have three second-round picks in the 2021 draft, including those from Charlotte, Toronto, and now Sacramento.

The deal reunites Joseph with his former Toronto Raptors coach, Dwane Casey, in Detroit.

Wright, 28, will get a $ 8.5 million guarantee for next season. He moves into the Kings guard rotation with De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield.

Wright has averaged 10.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists for the Pistons this season.

Joseph, 29, has averaged 6.7 points in 43 games this season.
