Destruction AllStars will cost $ 20 after it exits PlayStation Plus on April 6, developer Lucid Games announced today. Before Sony delayed the title and turned it into a PS Plus freebie, it had to cost $ 70.
Lucid said the new award would help “ensure the chaos will continue long after our PlayStation Plus promotion ends.” As always, if Destruction AllStars is already in your library, you can keep it as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription.
The studio has also shared details on what players can expect from the game through April. They will be a mix of double XP weekends, featured playlists to mix gameplay, and a new single-player Challenge Series mode that allows you to earn cosmetics for the characters in Destruction AllStarsYou can unlock the latter with “Destruction Points”, the game’s premium currency – which you can earn by spending real money or completing in-game activities. Each Challenge Series costs 400 Destruction Points.
With Sony hosting a State of Play presentation later in the day, chances are we’ll be able to see more of it Destruction AllStars and all upcoming content coming soon.
