Deportivo Cali defeated Águilas Doradas 1-0 at the Palmaseca stadium this Saturday and retained the lead of the BetPlay I-2021 League by 16 points on the sixth day of the game.
History repeats itself, the sugar team produces too many goals but has no precision in the final game. Only in the first half he had 11 shots, most of them possession, but he falls back on the same thing: he lacks definition. And Alfredo Arias, with what is on campus, will have to solve the formula to achieve that.
Goalkeeper Carlos Bejarano established himself as the figure of the field by preventing the attacker from piercing his fence several times. The only one with the key to the padlock was Michell Ramos, who grabbed a nice right hand a few minutes before the end of the game to beat Chocoano’s goalkeeper.

Coach Alfredo Arias populated the visitors’ area with Marco Pérez and Michell Ramos, and while he clearly increased his approaches, the lack of a goal was confirmed.
Pérez, just entered, got a serve from Gómez, but his header was stopped by Bejarano at 12 minutes. And then he failed the Chocoano when he entered the area.
A double shot from Vásquez and Ramos at the age of 22 also failed, when practically the Águilas area was filled with green shirts. Two minutes later, Bejarano again blocked the green-white finish.
With the variants implemented by Hubert Bodhert, the Antioquia team leveled the court and prevented the locals from rearming themselves in the offensive part.
However, after 41 minutes, Michell Ramos escaped Giovanni Martínez and hit a tempered right to the top of the left vertical that eventually overcame Bejarano’s resistance, for 1-0, only due to the Verdiblancos team’s superiority.
In replacement time, there was a head-on free kick for Águilas, but referee Jiménez ended the game amid the gold team’s claims.
In the seventh round of ‘all against all’, Cali will visit Boyacá Chicó on Wednesday, February 17 (8:10 PM), while Águilas Doradas will receive Envigado that same day (4:00 PM).
