The federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act establishes a temporary benefits program known as Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC), which provides up to 13 additional weeks of benefits for individuals who have exhausted all of their rights under unemployment insurance. and staying fit and available for work, there are more actively looking for work.
