You get the 2013 reboot, Rise and Shadow
It is the 25th anniversary of Tomb Raider this year, and to celebrate, Square Enix is releasing a trilogy collection with the earliest release from 2013. Oh, and Lara Croft is in too Fortnitealso.
It’s called the Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy, and includes the 2013 Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: that’s a lot Lara Croft! It’s technically a $ 59.99 release, but it’s on sale now for $ 20 if you grab it in the next two weeks (read: until April 2). The nickname “Final” refers to all relevant updates and DLC for all three games.
Note that you can also buy the games piecemeal if you wishThe 2013 reboot is really a respectable $ 2.99, Rise is $ 5.99 for the “20 Year Celebration” version, and Shadow is $ 14.99, which is almost the price of the entire compilation on sale.
I can safely recommend them all in that one bundle for that price if you’re prone to that Tomb Raider shenanigans. They each have their merits, and while they don’t redefine the action-adventure genre in any major way, they’re fun little stories and a great way to reintroduce Lara Croft to the world.
