A new study came out showing that people with serious complications from COVID and low vitamin D levels. Normal vitamin D levels should be around 30 and these people had levels below 20. Pianko said a simple blood test can determine if vitamin D levels are low and need to be increased, either with supplementation or safe outdoor activities.

Pianko said indoor insulation during the pandemic could be one reason many people have low levels of this valuable vitamin.
And as efforts increase to get people vaccinated against COVID = 19, experts warn the potential protection is not immediate.
Some health professionals have reported that even after vaccination, they still become infected with COVID-19.

That means people must maintain a safe social distance, wash their hands regularly and use face covers even after they have been vaccinated.
