‘Danger!’ Guest host Aaron Rodgers’ hilarious response to the failed Green Bay Packers designation

Aaron Rodgers learned the hard way that even “Jeopardy!” participants know as much about his NFL team, the Green Bay Packers, as he does.

The NFL quarterback has been a guest host for the hit game show all week as it continues to look for a permanent replacement for Alex Trebek, who died in November after a protracted battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

The footballer had a sobering moment early in the evening about what the participants knew, or rather didn’t know about his team. The game’s second clue was a $ 400 from the “Title Waves” category.

In a video of the game posted to Twitter, the prompt reads, “In the 1960s, these midwesterners earned 5 NFL Championship trophies.”

After Rodgers finished reading, he was stunned when none of the three contestants even took a gamble.

“Green Bay Packers!” an exasperated Rodgers replied with his arms outstretched after the time was up.

From there, he read a follow-up clue for $ 600 about another sports team and joked “oh, you know,” when a constant got it right right away.

Viewers at home were quick to notice on Twitter how amused they were at the time, with some even praising Rodgers’ performance as host and resembling Trebek’s.

“Love @ AaronRodgers12 as the host, he’s got the same snark level as Alex!” one person wrote

“Green Bay Packers !! Come on contestants! This is the best thing I’ve had watching Jeopardy! Aaron will be back soon!” another wrote

“Look, as far as I’m concerned, Aaron Rodgers can do whatever he wants. And I don’t even like the Packers. I like Aaron Rodgers that much, ‘ a third commented

Unfortunately, Rodgers’ time behind the stage on Friday comes to an end when his guest hosting period is over. However, the footballer recently hinted that he would not turn down the role if it were offered to him permanently.

On SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio show “The Pat McAfee Show,” the Green Bay Packers quarterback was asked about his ever-growing hair and beard. Like many, Rodgers has grown his hair during the coronavirus quarantine as many barber shops have closed.

“I decided to clear that up a bit. There was a conversation. I think there were a lot of people who wanted me to shave on the skin … I don’t do that very often, but if that’s a requirement to do it full time. action, no problem at all, no problem at all, ”he said.
