Dallas Cowboys’ Kellen Moore Agrees Multi-Year Renewal And Won’t Join Boise State Broncos

Kellen Moore will stay with the Dallas Cowboys as the club announced a multi-year extension with the offensive coordinator.

Moore’s deal with Dallas was set to expire after this season, and his alma mater, Boise State, was chasing him as the head coach.

Moore said in a statement from the Cowboys that he was “very excited” to stay with the team.

“I love Boise State. I will always be for them, and I hope to be part of the program again,” said Moore. “We’re building something special here in Dallas. Moore, 32, has been the Cowboys’ offensive coordinator since 2019. The Boise State job opened last month when Bryan Harsin left to take over as head coach at Auburn, replacing the fired Gus Malzahn.

In last weekend’s home win against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cowboys racked up 513 total yards of offense, surpassing 500 yards for the fourth time this season, with the most equalizing in team history with the 1978, 1966 and 2019 offenses.

Dallas also had three pass plays over 50 yards against the Eagles, the most by any team in the NFL this season. In the past three games, the Dallas ‘Cowboys’ attack contributed 94 points to 108 points.
