Cyberpunk 2077 Third-Person Bug Reveals V is a Sneaky Monster

Cyberpunk 2077 is a disaster that the executives at CD Projekt knew full well it would crash and burn. That said, one of the many bugs has the advantage of giving players what they’ve been asking for since the game’s unveiling way back in 2012: a third-person mode.

In several videos uploaded since the game’s launch on December 10, Cyberpunk 2077 players demonstrated a strange interference that keeps the camera locked in third person. This results in a mutilated, decapitated version of the main character model that is placed in full view of the player, which they can then use to wander the streets of Night City like a gruesome monster.

This appears to be related to the third person perspective option available while the player is in a vehicle. As such, the area you can traverse while the bug is active is limited as the camera remains locked to the vehicle you just left. While comparable emptythe are shared with the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit, the problem doesn’t seem to be as widespread as other problems.

There is a lot to say about it Cyberpunk 2077, the development cycle and business models that led to the release in such a compromised state, perhaps too much to put into a simple blog about some silly glitch. Perhaps, along with the myriad of other issues with the game, this is the wake-up call that studio managers need to stop exploiting their workforce. I think we’ll see it in the coming months.
