There are tons of weapons in Cyberpunk 2077. The most special of these are called iconic weapons – unique custom weapons that are one step higher than those found on an old corpse. These come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but none are as distinctive and full of personality as Skippy, the talking smart gun.
Ostensibly based on Microsoft’s Clippy, the pop-up paperclip that used to help us with Word documents, Skippy is an AI-powered smart gun. A shot from a smart gun will automatically search for targets in the air, which is as useful as it sounds. Normally you will have cyberware in your hands with which you can use smart weapons; A big advantage of Skippy, however, is that it does not require cyberware.
To find Skippy, go to an alley in the Glen, southeast of Corpo Plaza. See the map in the image below to locate the area.
Skippy is a unique weapon for many reasons, the least of which is the exemption from cyberware requirements. Skippy offers the choice of automatic headshots or non-lethal limbs, the latter called “Puppy Loving Pacifist Mode”. It will also crash from time to time, forcing Skippy to comment on how this has never happened before – if you know, you know.
