Something different for FTL fans to sink into
The Epic Games Store has prepared an interesting one-two punch for sci-fi roguelite fans and anyone else who Star Wars Battlefront II. The holidays are over, but the free games must continue.
Starting today, you can claim the strategy title Howling suns for your busy PC library, and while it doesn’t reach the peaks of arguably the best in its class FTL, it’s of a similar mood – you might appreciate it.
After that freebie, the Epic Store will release Star Wars Battlefront II: Celebration Edition – that’s the one packed with hundreds of cosmetic extras like Hero and Trooper ‘gigs’, speech lines, and emotes – for a week starting Thursday, January 14. Don’t try to forget it (but we’ll be there if you do).
I would like to Battlefront II (and the reception of Battlefront II) has gotten around enough over the years that I probably don’t need to tell you it’s in a good place and it’s nice – but it is. You can be Bossk!
