Cruz Azul: Pol Fernández and Walter Montoya are registered in Liga MX today

After nearly a month struggling to process his work visa at the The National Institute of Migration in Mexico City, Argentinian footballers from The Cruz Azul Machine, Guillermo Matías ‘Pol’ Fernández and Walter Montoya, They would travel to Guatemala to manage this document and register with Liga MX.

According to journalist Mac Reséndiz, Walter Montoya and Pol Fernández are already speeding up procedures in Guatemala and would be back in Mexico City on Wednesday evening with their work visa so they could be registered in Liga MX today.

“Pol ‘Fernández and’ Chaque ‘Montoya are already in Guatemala. They are expected in Mexico tonight with their work visa in hand (Uff!). Juan Reynoso has considered them for Friday’s game against Necaxa. ”, Reséndiz published.



If they close their registration, Montoya and Fernández would be called up for the game against Rayos del Necaxa next Friday at the VIctoria Stadium in Aguascalientes.

Montoya scored 1 goal and 2 assists in 27 games with Cruz Azul; Since his appointment in 2019, Walter has played in Gremio and Racing de Avellaneda, adding 39 games in which he has not scored a goal and has only 7 assists.

For his part, Pol Fernándeza only played 547 minutes in his first leg with Cruz Azul, adding 1 assist and no goals.
