COVID-19 in Puerto Rico: Seven deaths and 2,388 additional cases reported

The Department of Health reported seven deaths from COVID-19 this Tuesday, while 714 confirmed cases, 409 probable and 1,265 additional suspected cases were recorded, for a total of 2,388 new positive cases in tests to detect the coronavirus taken in samples. from March 28 to April 11, 2021.

406 people have been hospitalized, 19 more than Monday’s report.

Among those hospitalized, there are 385 adult patients, 21 more than the day before and 21 pediatric cases, two fewer than Monday’s report.

Intensive there are 81 adult patients, nine more than the day before, and two pediatric cases, one more than the day before. While there are 55 adult patients on ventilation, 12 more than in Monday’s report. There is also a pediatric patient on a ventilator.

In total, 2,162 deaths have been reported from Covid-19, seven more than Monday’s report.
