Court kidnaps witnesses in Natal v. Rosemary

Judge Anthony Cuevas ordered the witnesses who will participate in the election challenge presented by Manuel Natal to the mayor of San Juan, Miguel Romero, they will have to remain in court while the merits of the trial are being handled to avoid being affected by the live broadcast of the case.

According to Cuevas, Natal submitted a list of 25 witnesses.

Cuevas has designated views for today and tomorrow, as well as Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of the coming week.

At the start of the hearing this morning, Cuevas refused a request to him to reconsider his decision to exclude certain pieces of evidence that Natal’s legal team intended to present, as they had not been submitted within the time limit set by the magistrate.
