COSTCO stores CEO Craig Jelinek announced at a federal senate hearing that the minimum wage for his employees will be $ 16 an hour starting next week.
According to an Insider report, Jelinek said this hourly wage increase is “a good deal” for his employees as it reduces the departure of employees who have been with them for more than nine years. In addition, he assured that Costco’s success comes from having the best employees in their stores.
