Core i9-11900K CPU-Z benchmark result leaking?

Interesting, down in the country down there, no I mean a little bit higher there, Asia, some new songs have turned up. This round it’s the pending new Rocket Lake flagship 8-core part, the Core i9-11900K, specifically with CPU-Z benchmark numbers.

That (CPU-Z scores) makes it more interesting because such numbers can be easily compared to our own test suite. Cypress Cove’s core architecture appears to be producing significant numbers, and if we can believe the leaked score, we don’t know if the CPU has been modified or if BIOS optimizations have been activated).

The results show that the Core i9-11900K achieves 695 points in the single-threaded CPU-Z benchmark, which is about 20% faster than the Core i9-10900K; the multi-threaded benchmark shows a score of 6522 points, which is a disappointment compared to 10900K. But again, it has 10 cores. Videocardz saw the leak. If the results are baseline (default settings) then the single-core turbo is impressive. However, it will be interesting to see how long that single bin core can run in seconds, because such a score really requires a high frequency, and this process still has an energy-hungry 14 nm. We ask the question because the multi-core performance seems much more normalized, even in line with

Disclaimer: There’s nothing more subjective than adding alleged unverified numbers to our own charts, but I’ll do it anyway, as it paints a clearer picture of product positioning. Make sure to take the graphs below with heaps of salt as we cannot validate the leaked CPU-Z results. Again, these can be customized in some way. Keep this HUGE disclaimer in mind here, okay? Rocket Lake is rumored to be announced at CES with a March 15 launch.

Right, that’s the last post of this year, folks! happy 2021! 🙂
