Contradictions between PRSC deputies about a demonstration of 30% of the pension funds

While the Social Christian Reform Party (PRSC) spokesperson confirms that there will be no demonstration on February 27, Pedro Botello, a leader of the march demanding the release of 30 percent of pension funds, said it was already “an accomplishment. fact”.

The PRSC underlined Botello regarding the celebration of a demonstration it had announced for the next National Independence Day, but the deputy denied that it can be stopped and even disconnected from the call.

“I do not own the call for the demonstration, it is a decision of all the coordinators of the groups in the fight for 30 percent. I could make a proposal to reconsider it, but I dare not ask them to refrain from a demonstration to be held on the 27th, ”said Botello.

However, prior to Botello’s statements, PRSC spokesman in the House of Representatives, Máximo Castro, stated that it had already been decided on February 27 to suspend a demonstration.

“That will not happen, not Botello. There will be no action that day. We, the bloc and the party, have already met with Botello and there will be no protest on February 27,” said Castro.

But not only did Botello say the march is underway, if not that he has revealed that he will not attend the National Assembly for the traditional reporting.

“I will be and I apologize because I will not be in the conference room, I will be in front of the congress with the protesters,” said Botello.

At the same time, he said the only way to stop the march is if the president of the republic meets the workers.

“We have suggested that the only thing that would stop this march would be for the president to meet with the workers before that date. He received everyone except the workers, ”he said.
