The comedian who went viral with his 30-second parody of The Crown has once again delighted fans with his hilarious impressions of Bridgerton characters.

Yorkshire-based Kieran Hodgson imitated the stars of the new Netflix series – which is expected to be streamed by 63 million households on the streaming website in its first month – in a video that has been liked by thousands on Twitter.

The spicy period drama follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) as she and other London debutantes look for a husband.

In the clip, Kieran plays the role of a ‘sad and confused’ Daphne and makes fun of her and the many sex scenes of The Duke of Hastings in various locations.

Fans applauded Kieran’s impressions by saying they were ‘perfect’ and thanking him for ‘encouraging people into lockdown’.

In the video, Kieran perfectly changes his expressions to match those of the characters he portrays, including the show’s Gossip Girl-esque narrator Lady Whistledown and all of the various Bridgerton siblings.

The camera then jumps to Kieran pretending to box topless – portraying the Duke of Hastings – who says, “I swore to my father that I would never shave properly and that I would never marry a Bridgerton!”

The camera then cuts to Kieran as the show’s protagonist Daphne Bridgerton, who is dressed in one of her many blue dresses.

To which Kieran responds as her mother, “You have wide eyes my child, and always look sad and confused,” before the camera returns to Kieran as Daphne stares wistfully into the distance.

Kieran changes the dress to play her part and says, “Why does a woman always have to impress with her big eyes, why not with a big book she’s written!”

He styled his hair in Anthony’s floppy sideburn style and tells The Duke, “Hastings, if you smear my sister’s honor, I’ll unleash more Bridgertons on you than you ever thought possible.”

Elsewhere in the parody, Kieran plays the role of the other Bridgerton brothers, including ‘A nice Gap year Bridgerton’ Colin and ‘A painting Bridgerton’, the middle sibling Benedict.

At the end of the parody, Kieran also mentions the duke and Daphne’s many sex scenes on the show, reenacting their spirited encounters “on the patio, up a ladder and at the pig competition.”

Fans of the show and of Kieran were quick to respond with one saying: ‘I needed that smile. You accepted that! Costumes great! Pure talent ‘.

Another wrote: ‘Omg. This is absolutely perfect and hilarious. You’re a sweetheart’.
