Colorado to expand the right to COVID-19 vaccinations

DENVER (AP) – Colorado state officials have said additional frontline workers and those with multiple chronic health conditions may be eligible for COVID-19 vaccines starting late next week.

The Denver Post reported Tuesday that the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment confirmed that the state expects to move to the next phase of its vaccination plan on or around March 5, but did not provide details of when everyone in the phase would be eligible.

The new phase includes frontline workers in multiple industries, including the US Postal Service, grocery stores and public transportation.

It would also be extended to people with two or more high-risk health conditions, including cancer, diabetes and Down’s syndrome.
